Shop for hand made ceramic skulls including Day of the Dead sugar skulls and black skull accessories, soap or lotion pump dispensers, spoon rests and more. My ceramics are created one piece at a time in my studio located in the Texas Hill Country. I use a variety of clay bodies from liquid slip to slab clay to create my pieces. I do not use outside help to create or make my ceramics, each and every piece I sell is made by me in my shop. All ceramic pieces are fired in my kiln.
Shop of Skulls is located in the beautiful Hill Country west of Austin in the small community of Spicewood. All ceramics are made in my shop, I do not use imported bisque and pass it off as my own, all pieces are slip cast in my studio using plaster casting molds, many molds I use are vintage pieces and no longer available. My clay and glazes are from the USA. The glazes used on all my pieces are non-toxic, lead free and food safe and most of all people and pet friendly.
My goal is to offer unique collectible fine art ceramics, gifts and functional decorative items for your home, kitchen, bath, office, garden and patio. I make a variety of slip cast ceramic skull ware including tea bag holders, mugs, soap dispensers, napkin rings, salt & pepper shakers, canisters, kitchen ware, nightlights, and more. Payments Domestic & International Orders: All payments are accepted in US dollars. Please note: your payment is processed at the time of ordering, NOT upon shipping. Paypal is the acceptable form of payment and must be for the exact purchase amount. Misrepresentation of location at time of order: Orders placed with the shipping location misrepresented for the purpose of obtaining reduced shipping fees or to circumvent sales tax will be canceled and subject to a cancellation fee. Example of misrepresentation is selection of domestic shipping but request the order to be shipped to an international address or use another domestic location but request shipment to a location where sales tax is applicable.
Acceptance of Goods: Once you receive your order please take the time to check it over. If you find damage notify me immediately*. I will consider all sales final and received in good condition if I do not hear from you within 7 (seven) days from the date of receipt. Date of receipt is based on the delivery/availability date noted by the USPS tracking.
*Damaged Items - What to do: Should something happen to your order or one of the items in your order, please assist me in getting the proper paperwork to the postal service. This means photos of the damaged package and contents. Please do not throw away a damaged package or contents.
RETURNS: Returned Items must be returned within 14 days of receipt. The receipt or delivery date is determined by the delivery confirmation issued by USPS. Returned items must have a Return Authorization Number (RAN). To obtain a RAN please contact me by email. Items returned without a RAN may not be accepted. Refunds will be issued for merchandise only using the same payment method used to make the purchase provided the items are returned undamaged. For your protection please insure and obtain delivery confirmation on return packages. Lost or damaged items are not eligible for refund. Returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee. This fee cannot be waived. Exchanges are not subject to restocking fees. Please contact me if you have any questions.
SPECIAL ORDERS: I accept special orders and items made to order. However these orders must be paid in full before the order is started. Made to order/Special orders are not eligible for return or refund.
ORDER CANCELLATION / NON-PAYMENT / CREDIT CARD ISSUES / REFUSED SHIPMENTS: Orders will be cancelled if: a. Payment has not been received within 7 business days from order date unless prior arrangements have been made. b. Payments made by an 'e-check' that do not clear. c. At my discretion.
Electronic Payments Using Credit Cards or Other Forms of Payment: Orders cancelled within 24 hours by the account or card holder for any reason will incur a $15.00 cancellation processing fee. Orders that have been shipped and refused by the recipient are considered the same as cancelled orders and will incur a cancellation processing fee of $15.00 plus a 20% restocking fee. Shipping & handling amounts on refused shipments are not eligible for refund.

Many of my ceramics are made to order that ship on completion, please see each individual item for make ready times, please keep in mind make ready times are an estimate. All other orders normally ship within 5 - 7 business days after full payment is received.
DOMESTIC ORDERS: All orders are shipped via the USPS with delivery confirmation. *Please keep in mind ceramic items are breakable and must be double boxed, shipping amounts include a nominal fee to cover the cost of shipping supplies.
CANADA: Shipping to Canada is via USPS USPS Global Priority Mail, cost of insurance plus a nominal fee to cover the cost of shipping supplies. Buyers are responsible for all duty, taxes or fees.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING to Other Countries: I will be more than happy to ship internationally, however due to the difference in shipping costs to various countries it is impossible for me to calculate each one. If you are interested in making a purchase from me please send me a message with the items you wish to buy and I'll give you a quote for the shipping costs. All shipping quotes for international is based on USPS Global Priority Mail Register Mail, insurance plus a nominal fee to cover shipping supplies. Buyers are responsible for all duty, taxes or fees on purchases. Customs declaration forms will show all purchases as Merchandise.
International orders shipped to domestic addressed clearing house: International orders that are shipped to a domestic address that serves as a clearing house for destination to a location outside the US must inspect contents on receipt. Once goods have been received damage to contents must be reported within 3 business days after receipt, the receipt date is as noted by the United States Postal Service Track and Confirm data. Claims for damages cannot be honored for goods if they are shipped by the clearing house facilitator to another destination after receipt.
TAXES & DUTY FEES: All duty, taxes or fees associated with a purchase are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
SHIPPING TO ANOTHER ADDRESS: If you need an item to be shipped to a friend or family member as a gift please be sure you note this when placing your order. The recipients location/shipping address must be completed at the time the order is placed, this cannot be changed once the purchase is completed.
